Full-Time Position

  • YICF is seeking a full-time, paid role as Communications Assistant/Associate. We are looking for a resourceful individual with a “self-starter” attitude and a keen ability to work within a team, manage multiple projects, and adhere closely to timelines/deadlines.

Volunteer Opportunity

  • This volunteer teaching opportunity helps to support the GED program by leading a regular class with Roshan GED students. These classes focus on reading comprehension, essay writing, and grammar as part of preparation for the GED English test. This volunteer should be a native English speaker with or without formal teaching experience.

    Requirements:

    • Fluent in English

    • Some Teaching experience

    • Available for 2, one and a half hour classes per week

    • Minimal 6 months commitment

  • This volunteer teaching opportunity focuses on United States history, government and economy as part of preparation for the GED Social Studies test. This volunteer should be a native English speaker with or without formal teaching experience.

    Requirements:

    • Fluent in English

    • Some teaching experience

    • Available for 2, one and a half classes per week

    • Minimal 6 months commitment
